Nevada Co Health Officer Says Flu Vaccine Stronger

Adults over 65 normally account for about 61-percent of reported influenza hospitalizations each year, the highest rate of any age group. Starting Thursday, and for the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, there is a free clinic at the Grass Valley Veterans Building, from 1 to 4pm. There is also a free clinic Saturday, for people 4 years and older, at Twin Cities Church on Rough and Ready Highway in Grass Valley, from 10am to 2pm. The Health Department also offers them every third Thursday of the month, for those 19 years and older, also from 10am to 2pm.
