Last says Grass Valley has also approved several hundred housing units, going back over a decade, and developers are showing greater interest in starting construction, with the real estate market improving. He says there could be groundbreaking on some projects in a year or so. The panel discussion will also cover local transient housing and so-called “Airbnb’s”. It begins at 10 Saturday morning, at Peace Lutheran Church, at 828 West Main Street. Refreshments and coffee service begin at 9:30. The second discussion is in February and focuses on how the housing situation impacts homelessness.
