Nevada County appearance of Willie Nelson sold out

Willie Nelson and Family appear Sept. 14 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds, but unless you’ve got a ticket you won’t be seeing Willie. Julie Baker is executive director of the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley.

The benefit concert, for the Bear Yuba Land Trust in Grass Valley, is the 79-year-old Nelson’s first appearance in Nevada County, Baker says. The center has added a Merle Haggard concert the next day on Sept. 15 at the fairgrounds. Ramblin’ Jack Elliot will appear with Haggard.
