Nevada County Democrats Endorse Heidi Hall For Di

Submitted to KNCO:

On Thursday, March 17, the Nevada County Democratic Central Committee voted to endorse Heidi Hall for the District One seat on the Nevada County Board of Supervisors in the upcoming June election.

Earlier this year, the Committee conducted interviews with both announced candidates for the position, each of whom professed their long time support for Democratic values and the Democratic Party.    The Committee’s consensus was that Ms. Hall was the best qualified candidate, whose background and leadership skills can bring people together and develop creative, long-term solutions that will keep our region safe, independent, and thriving.

Ms. Hall is currently a manager with the State Department of Water Resources, with over 25 years experience dealing with environmental and water issues.   She has been a candidate for United States Congress and was political commentator for both radio station KVMR and the Union newspaper.

Ms. Hall’s opponent recently announced that he is changing his voter registration from Democrat to No Party Preference.
