Nevada County Fair Competition Handbook Available

For people interested in entering a number of competitions at the County Fair, the handbook is now ready. Nevada County Fair Deputy Manager, Robin Hauck, says this year’s Nevada County Fair Theme is, “Simply Fun”, and will host a variety of new and traditional contests.

A special category this year is a Miniature Fairy Garden Competition.

And Hauck says the fair is even adding social media to its competitions.

Most entry paperwork is due to the Fair Office by July 18 at 4:00 PM.
Handbooks are available at the Fairgrounds office, the Chambers of Commerce, post offices, libraries, and several supermarkets and other local businesses as well as online at NevadaCountyFair.com.

The Nevada County Fair, Simply Fun, runs August 6-10.
