Nevada County Food and Toy Run Another Success

The 23rd annual Nevada County Food and Toy Run took off from the Eric Rood Administrative Center at straight up at noon Saturday for the annual parade of motorcycles delivering food and toys to the families and children of Nevada county . Jo Lin McLaughlin and her husband JD were part of it.

Wayne Worden is President of the Christian Motorcycle Association group out of Auburn. They were also offering hot coffee to all the riders.

Event organizer Thom Staser says they counted 1, 234 bikes and had nice weather for the Toy Run this year.The parade of motorcycles was lead by sheriff’s deputies and the search and rescue team volunteers kept intersections clear.
Libby Warden says she appreciates the people lining the streets.

It was a great turnout and most people seemed to enjoy it.
