Nevada County Jobless Rate Unchanged

No change in Nevada County’s unemployment rate. January numbers have just been released and show a 5-point-1 percent rate, the same rate as December. It’s also a point better than a year ago. Once again, the largest percentage gain was in the Leisure and Hospitality sector, which showed an increase of 210 jobs. The largest percentage loss was in Professional and Business services, at 100 jobs. Nevada County’s jobless rate is the 14th lowest among California’s 58 counties.
