Alexander and his family also live in El Dorado County. He was hired by Nevada County in May of last year. Newell says Alexander and his lead team of prosecutors had a very productive year. He says Alexander played a significant role in guiding the team that apprehended the suspects of murder of a marijuana garden caretaker…

Anticipating Alexander’s departure, Newell says the two have worked closely to develop a transition plan to ensure that a replacement is hired soon, hopefully in about two months.
