Nevada County Magicians Guild April Fool’s Magic Show

This Saturday is the 5th annual April Fool’s Magic Show, put on by the Nevada County Magician’s Guild at the North Star House.  Guild member Peter Franchino says the family-friendly event is modeled after the Hollywood Magic Castle, a magicians club and public venue started in the 1950’s.

Six magicians will perform throughout the house starting at 7 p.m.  Guild member Bruce Gauthier says the show is also a great chance for performing magicians to step outside their comfort zone.

Tickets for Saturday’s evening performance can be purchased at Mountain Pastimes or at the door.  The North Star House is located on Auburn Road in Grass Valley, near the Fair Grounds.  Proceeds benefit the North Star House restoration project.
