Nevada County Reads 2016 Book Selected

If you haven’t heard yet, the Book for the Nevada County Reads event this year has been selected.

He is a lawyer who defends people who have been wrongly incarcerated or railroaded in some way and the book is his story of some of the cases he’s worked on.

The Nevada County Reads event will launch sometime next month, when it’s typically still cold outside and Pappani says people like to stay indoors and read.

Nevada County Reads and Writes! is a county-wide program for the entire community, sponsored by Nevada County Libraries and the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools. The annual event was created in 2005, wherein the entire community is encouraged to read the featured book simultaneously and participate in subject related school and community events. Last Years book was the Fault In Our Stars, which was also made into a Hollywood Movie.
