Nevada County remains Republican

Nevada County remains Republican in registration, though the number of voters listing themselves as “no party preference” is rising.  Richard Ulery is chairman of the Nevada County Republican Party, and says the GOP keeps its lead over Democrats.

About 23,000 voters in Nevada County register Republican, 19,000 as Democrats and 12,000 list themselves as  “no party preference.”
