Nevada County to Spend More on Tree Removal

Nevada County will be spending more money on tree removal next year. The Board of Supervisors has approved a contract not to exceed 150-thousand dollars from November of this year through June of 2018. Pack says contracting out for services will also be cheaper in the long run than doing the tree removal themselves. Also, in the past, different departments such as Public Works and Building, would be responsible for figuring out their own tree removal work, but now all of the departments in the county will be sharing the same contract…
