Nevada County Welcomes Farmers

Other speakers include former NBA player Will Allen, who has founded a business called ‘Growing Power’, and a talk by Temra Costa, author of “Farmer Jane: Changing the Way We Eat.” Workshops will be held at the Grass Valley Charter School on Auburn Street, adjacent to the Veterans Hall, where the speeches will be conducted. The conference runs all day Saturday and Sunday. Dickerson says about 300 people attended last year.  (For ticket and other information, visit www.foodandfarmconference.com)
