Nevada County’s Jobless Rate Drops Slightly

After two straight summer months of increases, it’s a slight drop for Nevada County’s unemployment rate for August. The rate dropped two-tenths of a point from the previous month to 4-point-percent. Otherwise, the employment picture continues to look rather flat for Nevada County. We still have the 13th lowest rate among the state’s 58 counties, unchanged from July.
