Nevada County’s Medical Marijuana Measure set for Court Hearing

Opponents of Nevada County’s medical marijuana measure will be in court Friday (July 27) over their request for a court injunction against the county ordinance.

Patricia Smith is with the Nevada County chapter of Americans for Safe Access, a pro-medical marijuana group. Smith says the square feet provided growers in the county measure is inadequate.

The Nevada County Counsel’s office declined to comment on the upcoming court hearing.
