Over three hundred students begin the process of graduation at Nevada Union High School today. The drive-through format will take place today and tomorrow, with speeches by the valedictorians and salutatorians filmed on Friday. N-U Principal Kelly Rhoden says the process begins by appointment, with groups of 50 each in a one-hour window…
They end up down at the football field, where each student will get out of the family car, walk across the stage to receive their diploma, family members will be allowed out to take pictures, and then they are back in their cars and drive away. Rhoden says all of this will be filmed for a broadcast next week….
Caps and gowns were picked up yesterday. The drive-through schedule runs from 8:30 to 3:30 today, and 8:30 to 1:30 tomorrow.
