Nevada Union High School was vandalized over the weekend. Superintendent Louise Johnson says the damage was done some time in the early morning hours on Sunday.*
Students reported that they were able to retrieve most of their belongings. There was no damage inside the buildings Johnson says all the lockers hit were outside
Asked if this looked like an end of year prank, Johnson said she would hope not.*
Today Johnson says they will be asking students to report anything missing so they can report the full damage to the school insurance company. There are surveillance camera’s throughout the campus and Johnson says the Nevada County Sheriff’s Department is doing an n investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office. or the school resource officer.
