Thanksgiving week is filled with plenty of traditions, including the Country Christmas Fair and Cornish Christmas. Lots of families also take in special holiday movies. And Pixar’s newest release, “Coco”, has a local connection. Adrian Molina, a Bear River High School graduate, is the writer and co-director on the animated film. It’s about a young boy named Miguel who is magically transported to be among his ancestors, who passed away during the Day of the Dead celebration. Molina says the Thanksgiving holiday is a perfect time to release the film…
Molina, who has worked for about 7 years on this film, says he is thankful for all the people who supported him to get to this point in his career…
There is a special release of “Coco” at the Del Oro Theatre tonight, with a 2-D showing at 7pm, and a 3-D showing at 9:30pm. It is released worldwide tomorrow.
