New Chancellor Hired for Community Colleges

The California Community Colleges Board of Governors today announced the unanimous selection of former Los Rios Community College District Chancellor Brice W. Harris as the 15th chancellor to lead the 112-college system, the largest system of higher education in the country.
Sierra College President, Willy Duncan, speaks highly of Dr. Harris’s decision to take the position.

Duncan knows Harris’s experience brings confidence to the other Community College Presidents around the state.

Dr. Harris is following in the footsteps of Jack Scott who retired earlier this month.
