New City Finance Director Takes the Helm in Grass Valley

The City of Grass Valley has a new Finance Director and she comes to Grass Valley from the City of San Luis Obispo. Mette Richardson began her career at the County of Santa Barbara, moved to Ventura and then the San Luis Obispo County. From the county level, Richardson moved to the city.

Now that Richardson has landed, she is ready to take on the Grass Valley budget and establish year-end out closing processes.

Richardson looks forward to working with City Manager Bob Richardson and the City Council as she settles in to her new position.
