New City Manager Getting Adjusted to Nevada City

Nevada City’s New City Manager has been on the job for five days and Mark Prestwich is learning the ins and outs of his new responsibilities. His first city council meeting was a special meeting held this morning to hear an appeal about a proposed reopening of a bed and breakfast in a residential neighborhood. The meeting opened with an interesting twist.

Mark Prestwich is a full time City Manager replacing David Bennnan who served as a part-time interim city manager for the past three years.
