New Games and Contests at the Fair

The Nevada county Fair is here and if rides, animals, exhibits, and Treat Street are not enough- there are exciting contests and activities happening each day of the Fair! Fair Spokesperson Wendy Oaks there are a number of new activities

Oaks says some activities include creative uses of technology.

Also new this year is the Gold Country Yo-Yo Contest; and if you have long hair and would like to donate to a good cause, you can support Locks of Love.

There will also be returning favorites as well: The Squash Mobile Races, “Minute to Win It” fun, Simply Build It Fun, a Scrapbook Page Layout Contest, a Gift Wrapping Contest, a Diaper Derby, and a Just Dance Contest. Karaoke, happens Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
There are no entry forms for most events – just show up 15 minutes early at the Special Events Tent and get ready to play. Lots of fun and great prizes!
