New School Vaccination Law Now In Effect

Among the new state laws that took effect on July 1st, instead of the more traditional January 1st, was a controversial one that bans personal and religious belief exemptions for child vaccinations. The only exception is a valid medical issue. That’ll affect incoming kindergartners and seventh graders. The last figures available, about six months ago, showed Nevada County’s vaccination rate at 77-percent. But state health officials say the rate needs to be 92-percent, to prevent disease outbreaks. Critics of the law say it unfairly limits parental choice, but an attempt to overturn it failed to get enough voter signatures. However, a new bill is expected to be introduced to repeal it.

Totally unfair that the children and their parents do not have the right of choosing whether or not to get vaccination shots especially when some "no name" white van or RV pulls up to the school to give children shots when at times parents aren't notified and a valid Dr isn't usually present and NEVER EVER has there been any paperwork to accompany these "vaccinations" to prove what's ACTUALLY in the syringe that they are injecting your child with. In the day and age of population control and terrorism as close to us as it is I think that it is down right appalling and to some degree a total violation of human rights that it doesn't matter your personal reasons or religious choices don't have or carry any value what so ever. Its like saying your live and choices have no value in this "free country" but you have to do what "the master" says.
