NID Kicking Off Plan For Water Process

A comprehensive look at the potential limitations of NID’s available water supply in the next 50 years begins Tuesday afternoon. Board of Directors President, Chris Bierwagen, says the first of a series of public meetings over the next 18 months will focus on an overview of their system, from the top of the watershed to the bottom. When completed, NID officials say the Plan will show how future water supply and demand scenarios may be integrated, to ensure the community enjoys a high-quality, reliable water system. These are Zoom meetings for now, with this one scheduled for 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.
