NID Makes Surplus Water Declaration

It wasn’t a very stormy winter. But that hasn’t stopped the Nevada Irrigation District Board of Directors from, once again, making a surplus water declaration. Riley says even though the forecasted April-to-July runoff for the Yuba River basin currently sits at around 60-percent of average, you can still factor in carryover storage from the robust winter of 2018-2019…

As of March 31st, District reservoir storage was 95-percent of average.
