NID Not Ready to Cry Drought

Nevada Irrigation District Officials say they’re not ready to call it a  Drought…but they are concerned with the lack of precipitation so far  this year.

Chip Close is Water Operations Division Manager for NID, he says the district draws on several sources to predict the weather.

So far those monitors have NOT recorded much precipitation this year.

On the bright side, Close says water storage is ample for now.
