NID Puts Customers Ahead of Profit

NID is making customers a priority over profit while making repairs to the Bowman Reservoir outlet at the Bowman Dam.
NID manger, Rem Scherzinger says Intial repair work uncovered a second crack that requires a pipe redesign rather than just a weld.

PG and E pays NID for power that is generated by the Bowman Dam power facility- however, the revenue generated by the sale of electricity is less of a priority compared to the revenue generated by water customers.

Scherzinger did not have an estimate of how long the repairs would take before the facility can begin to be generate power.
