Scherzinger says the new pipeline alternative is seen as part of NID’s bigger vision of connecting the District’s treated water systems in an effort to enhance system reliability and safety. The Board awarded the $116,300 contract to HDR Engineering. The study is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
