Night Of Giving Two Virtual Events

The 15th Annual Night of Giving, the major fundraiser of the year for Hospitality House, is still a go, although as a virtual event Saturday evening. This is also the last year for event host and founder Mikail Graham. Traditionally, it was a party, with dinner and drinks and 30 to 45 live acts on three stages, at Miners Foundry. Graham says the pandemic has also necessitated two versions of the event, one is on Comcast channel 11 or Suddenlink channel 16, where donations are not allowed, due to FCC regulations. But he says for the best optimal experience, you’re encouraged to stream directly through the Hospitality House website, which can facilitate donation requests. It’s a free event, with a suggested 25 dollar donation, and all donations will be tripled by “angel donors”. The Night of Giving starts tomorrow (Sat.) night at 6. This year, Hospitality House helped 570 homeless people.
