No Challengers to Incumbents For GV City Coucil

There will not be a competitive election for three available seats on the Grass Valley City Council in November. Candidates had until five o’clock (Friday evening) to turn in their paperwork, and only the three incumbents were the ones that did get those forms in on time. That happened in Nevada City in June, where incumbents did not run, but there were only two candidates for two open seats, and they were appointed. Jan Arbuckle, Howard Levine, and Lisa Swarthout are all up for re-election.
