No Child Welfare Payment Restriction State Budget

Just under a week before the constitutional deadline, Governor Brown and the Legislature have reached agreement on the state budget for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. The new state budget also includes more money to help pay for minimum wage increases for child care providers, as well as some additional preschool slots.
