No Injuries In Crash In Front of School

A two car rear-end collision happened on Highway 174 in front of Union Hill School early this morning (Wednesday).  CHP Officer Timothy Sheehan says the 56 year old male driver of a 2003 BMW, pulled into the left turn only lane between the south and north bound lanes from the school parking lot. The officer says a 46 year old female driver of a 1995 Saturn thought the BMW was going to continue into her lane.

Sheehan says the BMW made a legal turn into the left turn lane. The driver of the Saturn swerved, and rear-ended the other car causing the air bags to deploy. The BMW driver was not hurt. The woman suffered some facial injuries from the airbags, but refused medical treatment.
