No New Covid Cases This Week, But Spike Could Come

County officials are optimistic about the latest testing numbers. There hasn’t been a coronavirus case in over a month, and just one in Eastern County in the month of May. County spokesman Andrew Trygg says it’s nice that there hasn’t been a spike in cases as predicted, but they’ll be even more pleased if that’s still the case a week from now…

Positive tests will be reported immediately. Testing continues at the Grass Valley Veterans Building by appointment only. Trygg says they are free, and there’s been questions about that…

While eastern Nevada County residents can be tested for free in Kings Beach, which in Placer County, results from Nevada County residents will be included in the Nevada County numbers.
