No Problems with Traffic Shift on HWY 49 this Weekend

Cal Trans shifted traffic onto the northbound lanes of the new Highway 49 pavement at La Barr Meadows Road over the weekend.  The California Highway Patrol says everything went smoothly for motorists and there were no accidents reported.  Cal Trans spokesperson Rochelle Jenkins says the white concrete k-rail barriers will be in place for safety for the next two months.
