No Surprise

When the story broke this past weekend that an explosion and  fire broke out at a residence in Nevada City (thanks Pascale), the first thought that came into my mind was another “honey oil” pot plant blew up.  Apparently I was right, at least according to the initial investigation and arrest.  It’s sad to think of this type of crime and operation being commonplace in our town.  And, now with drought conditions, the next explosion and fire might not be easily contained by our firefighters.

You are so right Mr. Fitzsimmons. It is a very sad situation in our community right now. Everyday in our news there is another situation that could cause catastrophic damage to this whole area and wipe it out within hours. I guess we are at the mercy the people causing the problems.
I thank you and your staff at KNCO for keeping us up to date on situations.
