Non-Injury Accident Still Causes Headaches

A solo vehicle crash in the Grass Valley area Sunday night caused major disruptions to traffic, as well as phone and internet service. CHP Officer Greg Tassone says it was raining when 42-year-old Kerry Deehan of Grass Valley was driving her SUV, on Greenhorn Road near Dogwood Road….

Deehan was not injured. But Tassone says the force of the collision sheared off the pole near its base, downed the connected phone lines and pole, and blocked the entire road, creating a large backup…

Greenhorn Road was blocked for about two hours.
