Non-Profits Helping Non-Profits

A positive relationship between non-profit organizations in the Grass Valley area. The Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is joining The Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce Friends of The Chamber Program. Chamber Co-CEO Keith Davies says that Habitat of Humanity is the first non-profit business to take part in the program.

Davies says that the Friends of the Chamber Program provides funds that go beyond general costs and are used for special projects and programs put on by the Chamber.

Friends of the Chamber helped offset costs for a complete web site redesign and might be used to help start Chamber sponsored Jeep Tours.

Habitat for Humanity joins Sean Gilleran and the Gold Country Holiday Inn  Express,  the Papolas and Network Realty, along with Bob Medlin and the Beam Easy Living Center as members of the Friends of the Chamber. Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore is located at 12359 Loma Rica Drive.
