Nontraditional Employment for Women Workshop

Sierra College is trying to attract women to professional opportunities that have been traditionally reserved for men. Sierra College Director, Carol Pepper-Kittredge, says the Non-traditional Employment for Women (NEW) EventĀ  is designed to connect with girls and inspire their career plans.

High school girls, in groups of less than 10, will meet faculty, create a project and learn about careers that are nontraditional for women. The NEW event serves a couple of purposes.

The event is tomorrow from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Sierra College Rocklin campus.
