North San Juan Woman Arrested For Attempted Murder

Royal says the victim, an unidentified 60-year-old woman, was the property owner and was trying evict McCary and her 62-year-old husband Dennis, who were living in a trailer on the property. She had superficial wounds in the stomach and arm. Royal says Dennis then drove away from the home and tried to hide the handgun at a nearby residence…

Martha McCary is charged with one felony count of attempted murder. Also, a Highway Patrol Officer who was assisting was attacked by a pit bull and had to shoot and kill the dog.
