OB/GYN Shortage Alleviated At Western Sierra

Nevada County’s shortage of OB/GYN’s has gotten some relief. Western Sierra Medical Clinic in Grass Valley has announced the hiring of Doctor Christopher Genobaga for their maternity unit. Chief Communications Officer Cheryl Rubin says he’ll help meet a critical need, with fewer women having to leave the county for doctors in other communities…

Genobaga has been an OB/GYN since 2000, and was most recently with Peachtree Clinic and Rideout Medical Associates in Yuba and Sutter Counties.
