October Jobless Rate Lowest In 11 Years

It was a minor monthly drop, from September, of .3%, also down .8% from a year ago. Only 2 sectors showed job increases, with the Government sector showing the largest gains. But Allejo says no specifics are available for that category…

The other sector showing minor gains was Mining, Logging, and Construction. Once again, Nevada County had the 13th-lowest rate among the state’s 58 counties. Placer County had the 10th- lowest rate.
