Officers never known what is behind a door when they knock.  Grass Valley Police Sergeant Steve Johnson says officers went to a residence on Hughes Road Monday afternoon.  Officers were checking on the welfare of the resident.  Sergeant Johnson says after repeatedly trying to get the resident to open the door she threw the door open and confronted the officers.
