Oktoberfest this Saturday to Benefit Kare Crisis Nursery

A lot of families and single parents rely on the Kare Crisis Nursery to help them out when they need to leave their children for a while.

Lynn Woerner is Executive Director of the Kare Crisis Nursery. She says they can provide emergency day care and overnight care in a crisis. Court ordered supervised visitations are also a large part of their clientele, also, homeless Moms living in Nevada County.

The Kare Crisis Nursery presents its second annual Oktoberfest in Nevada City this Saturday as a fundraiser for what they do. The event features live music, great food, and of course beers from a variety of local-to-the-area breweries.

They will also have food and entertainment by Ben and Patsy Hannibrink, and the Road Test Band, in the beautiful setting of Pioneer Park in Nevada City. Tickets to the event are $10 pre-sale Available on  www.eventbright.com.     or for  $15 at the door. Once inside the event,  beers are $2 and food rages from $7-8 depending on the plate you order.Please bring chairs or blankets for the lawn so you can sit back, relax and ejoy the music! 100% of the proceeds for this event benifit the KARE Crisis Nursery  www.karecrisisnursery.org.  a 501c3 non-profit.
