Older Drug User Lands in Jail

A 59 year old Grass Valley man landed in the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on a number of drug related charges Wednesday morning. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says officer served a search warrant on a Gold Drive residence following a tip of drug related activity at the location.

McCandless was taken into custody without incident. Royal says an older user is not a common arrest.

McCanless,-RichardMcCandless was booked on charges of alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
