OMD! (Oh My Dog!)

Over one thousand dogs will participate in the annual Gold Country Kennel Club Dog Show this weekend at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. The local event is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club and each day is a show in itself.
Gold Country Kennel Club President, Chuck Teasley, says dogs will participate in a variety of competitions.

Along with watching the competitions, spectators can take advantage of multiple vendors and food providers.
A special fundraising event is also attached to the dog show.

Everyone is invited, admission is free; parking is five dollars. Teasley asks that if you do bring your dog that you don”t leave them in the car. Event staff will enter cars to relieve dogs left untended.
