One Arrested, One At-Large in Stolen Vehicle Case

A Grass Valley man who was a passenger in a stolen vehicle has ended up in jail. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says this morning (Wednesday) around 1 o’clock, one of the officers observed a white pickup truck parked in the area of Brunswick and Burma Roads. A Sheriff’s Sergeant who was patrolling in the area, stopped to help, and recognized the passenger as 50 year-old Wallace Tarp, who had a prior arrest warrant. Royal says Tarp was arrested on a variety of charges…

Authorities are still looking for 38 year-old Tristan Appleton, who is wanted for questioning about the stolen vehicle.
