One Injury One Non-Injury Accident in Nevada County

A couple of accidents in Nevada County today. The first accident was a non-injury collision in Penn Valley. CHP Officer James Cornwall says a woman ran the red light while trying to transport her husband to the hospital.

The woman’s husband was transported via ambulance to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for a non-accident related condition.

Just after 1:30 this afternoon a call came in of a vehicle versus child in the south county.

The accident occurring on Magnolia Road near Lakeshore. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
