One-Stop Business & Career Center Summer Youth Program

The One-Stop Business & Career Center is looking for businesses that need temporary help and young adults looking for summer work. The One-Stop Center is offering paid summer jobs with businesses and agencies in Nevada County. Specialist Christine Hoxie says the work covers a variety of industries.

Hoxie says that job opportunities in Nevada County are available now and run through August. The goal of the program is to help eligible youth 17-21 years of age get into the workforce and find businesses willing to help mentor the young workers.

Twenty eligible young adults will have the opportunity to participate in the program.

Orientations take place Tuesday, May 27th at 3:00 p.m. and every Monday in June at 3:00 p.m….  at the One-Stop Business & Career Center on Maltman Drive in Grass Valley.
