With the Voters Choice Act allowing ballots to be mailed in on Election Night, and others turned in at the last minute, that means results come in late, and it also means some close races are still undecided. The race for District One Supervisor has two bits of drama rolled into one. If incumbent Heidi Hall gets a majority of the vote, she avoids a runoff in November…
If re-elected, Hall plans to continue the work that is already happening with Board of Supervisors…
Hall currently has 48 percent of the vote. The other half of the drama is who she would run against. Deborah Wilder and Michael Taylor are one vote apart–1386 votes for Wilder, 1385 for Taylor. The winner looks to face Hall in a runoff. It may take several days to determine the final result.
