Interfaith Food Ministry is celebrating the move to their new location with an Open House of Saturday. Executive Director Sue Van Son says the new facility would not have been possible without community support.

Van Son says says they have 3,500 families registered for assistance and saw a 7-8 percent increase just last month.

Van Son says they give out staples like Milk, Eggs, Peanut Butter and grains but one thing they don’t buy is cereal so they would appreciate donations.

Food is distributed Monday, Wednesday and Friday, every other week, but with the new facility and more volunteers, they hope to distribute every week by summer.
